Laura Mercier Lip Glacé: Orange Tulip

I’ve being wanting to get a Laura Mercier lipgloss for quite some time. I tried one out before and it was the loveliest formula. When I saw one of their new releases with their summer collection, Orange Tulip, I knew it was the time to finally purchase one. I got mine for £18.50 from House of Fraser.

Orange Tulip is a deep peach gloss. It is a crème finish – no glitter or shimmer.
The formula was as great as I remembered. No stickiness, good coverage and surprisingly moisturising.

It wears as well as any lipgloss can and wears well. There is no distinct smell off it, which is nice for a change as sometimes when every single make-up product you use has a smell, it can be just a bit too much.

I’m on the look out for a darker peach lipstick though, any recommendations?
Have you tried any Laura Mercier lip products?

Make-Up Wishlist

If I can't sleep, one of my favourite things to do to pass the time is to find things to add to my never-ending wishlists. (I ended up on the Harrods website - don't you just want to live there!) More recently I've been working on my make-up wishlists and as it's been a while since my last wishlist post I decided to show you some of the make-up I'm coveting.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

I've heard so many things about this eyeliner. Gel is definitely my go-to formula for eyeliner so I'm eager to try this one out. I think I'll try it in black first but they have such a great colour range that I think I'll have to a coloured one too. The Ivy Shimmer colour is stunning.

I've been using the Laura Mercier Primer for the past few months and I love it. I'm dying to try her Silk Creme Foundation, I've swatched it numerous times so I think I just need to get it! I'd also like to try the tinted mosituriser for summertime . I think it would be perfect on holidays, I rarely put on a full face of foundation when I'm on holidays, especially if it's somewhere hot!!

Laura Mercier Mini Lip Glacé Set

I got my make-up done at the Laura Mercier counter before and they used one of the lipglosses. It was divine. I've never used a lipgloss before that has tasted so good. And it had zero stickiness! I think I'm going to get one as a summer treat. It's a necessity to get get non sticky lipgloss, right?! I love this little set of mini glosses, so cute.

This is the Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Body and Bath Trio. Doesn't need too much of an explanation. Sheer Luxury. Want. Now.

The final thing on today's wishlist is a mascara. I've used the normal Lancome Hypnose mascara but I want to try the Doll Eyes version.

That's just a snippet of whats on my (dun dun dun) Ultimate Wishlist excel sheet. I think I'll do another bag and shoe wishlist soon. Or maybe a jewelary one.

New Stuff!

If you follow me on twitter you may know that I visited friends in Dublin last weekend. Thankfully all those friends are as earnest make-up junkies as me so we had lots of fun buying and swatching make-up.

Most of the items I got were things I'd planned to buy for quite a while.

L-R Philospophy Tinsel Town gift set, Philosophy Purity Cleanser and Lush Flying Fox Shower Gel.
The Tinsel Town gift set contains a shower gel and lipgloss and was on sale for €6 down from €20! Bargain!

L-R Lush Buffy, Lush Tin and Lush Aqua Mirabilis
I've been dying to try the two of these out for ages!

L-R Dior Waterlily nail varnish, Shu Uemura eyelash curler and Laura Mercier primer.
The eyelash curler is something I'd always wanted to pick up but I didn't even know the brand was available in Ireland. I was thrilled when I spied the counter in BT:)

L-R Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer duo, MAC 129, MAC MSF in Redhead and MAC Lipstick in A Perfect Day.
I didn't like as much as I thought from the MAC Naturally collection but I loved the MSF!

Have you picked up anything recently?
