Essie Braziliant

Oh how I love a juicy orange nail polish! Braziliant was part of Essie's Braziliant collection of Summer 2011.

This bright, intense orange is not without a subtle sheen of pink micro-shimmer.

As much as I love to wear this on my fingernails, I think it is also perfect for summer toes!

A Little Bit Of No7 Love!

Ah those wonderful No7 vouchers that Boots are so fond of giving out. I got so many around January time and ended up getting all nail varnish with them. Here are some of my favourites.

Vivid Violet.
A beautiful royal purple. No blue tint.

Tangy.
 A delectable bright orange.

Totally Teal.
A moody darkened teal. Kind of grungy.

Highland Mist.
Darker than your usual nude but not yet a pink. Unusual looking but elegant.

Do you usually avail of the No7 vouchers or do they remain crumpled at the bottom of your purse until you find them months after expiry? This used to happen me a lot hah!

China Glaze Orange Marmalade

Orange Marmalade hails from the Summer Days Collection (2009).

I think the name of this nail varnish is so apt! It's a juicy orange shade, with golden speckles and it's a glass-flecked nail varnish, which I think is a stunning finish for a nail varnish.

Orange Marmalade is quite a sheer colour. The photos here are 3 coats I believe and you can still see some visible nail line. I think the next time I wear it, I'll layer it over another orange so that I don't end up having to do 4+ coats!

31 Day Nail Challenge - Day 2

Day 2: Orange

The colour theme for today is orange. I decided to wear a pastel orange for today's look as I had just gotten this one a couple of weeks ago and I hadn't the chance to wear it!

This is Barry M's Peach Melba. It's application was a little streaky and it required 3 coats.

See you for tomorrow's post!
